Hey, what's up guys, Michael here with another blog assigned by the great and powerful Alldredge? Alldredge has asked the class to compare and contrast Colonial life versus my very own. Back in the day, kids were taught in either small, expensive, private schools or individually tutored. Mostly the curriculum consisted of basic arithmetic (if you were lucky) and how to read and write. In some colonies, children were required to be able to read the bible. Once the kids learned this stuff they were sent to work a trade. I have been in a private school my entire life with mostly small classes. I also learned basic arithmetic and learned how to read and write. Once I entered middle school, I started learning algebra (which didn't exist). I also haven't been dedicated to a trade so I guess you can say times have changed. The rights around that time were kind of progressive meaning only landowners can vote except for woman rather than only priests and church going men.Thank you guys for reading this and comment below because Alldredge said so.
