When in the course of human events it becomes necessary for me to dissolve the bands which have connected me with homework, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that I should declare the causes which impel me to the separation. It is  the stress that drags me to the quasi-hell that comes with homework. Why should I  waste my time doing busy work while I can use my time studying for a quiz or spend time doing extracurricular activities? I believe that homework should only be assigned if a student is struggling to understand a subject or for a punishment. I believe homework is a waste of time in relation to school. Especially in the critical times of the transition from middle school to high school. What about those of us that are applying to other schools or those who are struggling to figure out where they want to go? Homework is busy work and a complete waste of time.
